You would have to be from here to know what it's like to experience Mardi Gras. The excitement is electric and freeing. You forget about any trouble. All that matters is that the music sounds great and the marching bands drums boom in your chest and the horns make you move your feet. The floats are brilliant and the throws are worth fighting for. But everybody's feeling nice.
